Nomads Byron Bay was announced the winner of “Best Hostel in New South Wales" at The Golden Backpack Awards Ceremony held in Sydney last night. The Golden Backpack Awards are the only awards dedicated to the independent travel sector rewarding the companies who work hardest to make backpacking around Australia and New Zealand special.
The winners of TNT's Golden Backpack Awards are voted for by backpackers either through TNT's website www.tntdownunder.com, or through downloadable forms. 2009 is the third year that TNT's Golden Backpack Awards Ceremony has been held.
