Located on Lawson Lane behind the iconic Great Northern Hotel, Nomads Byron Bay Backpackers Hostel offers a variety of accommodation options to suit all types of backpackers, travellers and budgets. Stay in our Superior King Rooms which feature ensuite bathrooms, fridge, tea & coffee making facilities and plasma screens, or choose from a variety of private, shared backpacker dorms or female only dorm rooms.

Please Note: For last minute bookings, in periods of high demand we cannot guarantee that reservations with more than one person will be allocated to the same room. We will however make every attempt to allocate beds in the same room where possible.
Security - Lockers
Nomads Byron Bay provide lockers in room but you need your own padlock

All bookings for peak period (including Christmas, New Year, Blues Fest, Splendor In The Grass) are non refundable 1 month prior to arrival, no cancellation accepted.
Xmas & New Year
Minimum stay of 5 nights is required from the 28th of December to 2 January
**No check-in or Check-out Christmas Day, Boxing Day or New Years Day.
Blues Fest
Minimum stay 5 nights is required

Will only accept full room booking for all schoolies & sporting team. Sharing option will not be accepted. All beds in room will have to be paid for.
A $20.00 non- refundable security fee will be paid by each guest on arrival.
We will hold a security bond of $100 per person for all bookings. Bond will be refunded upon satisfactory room inspection.

Nomads Byron Bay can organise airport transfer with fees
From the Motorway
Heading South into Byron Bay: Follow signs into Byron Bay and once you cross the railway tracks turn right into Jonson st and then left into Lawson Lane.
Heading North into Byron Bay: Follow signs into Byron Bay and continue down Jonson St. Turn right after the Great Northern Hotel into Lawson Lane.
By Bus / Train
2 Mins walk towards the beach directly behind the Great Northern Hotel.
The carpark is located underneath the hostel and is $10 a night, the entrance is on Fletcher street
