Things to do in Brisbane

Brisbane is Australia’s new world city.

Discover Brisbane from the inside out and explore the vibrant urban villages across Brisbane. Each suburb is a hub of activity with its own distinct vibe, unique personality and seemingly endless offering of things to see and do. Use this colour coded map to find your feet and see for yourself why this river city is much loved by residents and remembered fondly by visitors.

The City offers a discovery in every direction. Home to over 1000 stores, including the largest range of flagship boutiques in Queensland, it is the state’s premier shopping destination. The Brisbane CBD is also a food and drink lovers paradise, with everything from burger joints and riverside bistros, to laneway bars and hidden cafes, as well as the most Good Food Guide-awarded venues in Queensland!

A short walk from Nomads Brisbane you’ll find South Bank which is Brisbane’s premier lifestyle and cultural destination. Located on the southern banks of the Brisbane River, its 17 hectares of lush parklands, world-class eateries, stunning river views and hundreds of delightful events all year round make it the perfect place to relax and unwind.

Fortitude Valley is a contradiction in itself – raw, yet sophisticated. It is where elegance and style meet grungy and offbeat, and heritage-listed properties proudly stand among contemporary buildings.
