If you are staying at The Arts Factory Lodge you are already half way there, the hostel is located only 5 minutes from the town centre of Byron Bay and set in 5 acres of rainforest. Accommodation at the Arts Factory Lodge starts from $16 per night for tent camping with all your own equipment, so if you are on a budget no problem, if you have a few more pennies to spend we also have a wide selection of teepees, cabins, cottages and standard dorm rooms.
So once you have your budget accommodation sorted, next is to organise some relaxing activities to help you unwind.
The Arts Factory Lodge currently offer 3 yoga classes per week on Monday, Friday and Saturday at 8am or 9am, these classes are by donation so give whatever you can spare.
The Byron Yoga Centre located just 100 metres up the road from The Arts Factory Lodge are currently offering 2 yoga classes per day at 6am and 4pm, this will continue for at least the next month and these are also by donation. The Byron Yoga Centre also offer discounted classes all year round.
We offer a Guided Meditation every Sunday at 10am - this is just $5 per person, no booking required.
REIKI MASSAGE TREATMENTS

Just across the car park from The Arts Factory Lodge is the Buddha Gardens Day Spa, they offer amazing massage and skin treatments, however if you are looking for a budget option and want to treat yourself why not opt for 1 hour use of the heated plunge pool, sauna and garden for just $35 for 1 hour.
CINEMA AND MEAL DEALS
Also located just across the car park is the Byron Bay Brewery and Pighouse Flicks cinema, why not make a relaxing night of it with an $8 movie ticket (when purchased from The Mad Travel Shop at the hostel). The Brewery also do $9.50 meal deals every night.
Byron Bay is a great place if you're looking not to spend much on your travels, there are always great musicians busking on the street and sunset drumming circles on the beach. During whale season whales and dolphins can be easily seen from the lighthouse, so all in all plenty to entertain you for FREE in addition to the relaxing activities mentioned above which won't break the bank.
