We feel for you so we put together a ‘menu’, so you can go out for dinner all week for less than $50!
Eating Out in Byron Bay – Cheap Food!
Monday:
Staying with us at The Arts Factory Lodge? How easy would it be to have a meal at our own onsite cafe! Every night they serve cheap dinners! For only $7 you already have a complete meal. Have a meal with all the new friends you made at the hostel, sit down, eat, chat, drink your own goon, it is sure to be a fun night!
Tuesday:
Domino’s time! This time you get a pizza for $5. A limited menu but choice enough… veggie pizza, pepperoni pizza etc. And for two dollars extra you have a can of coke with it. Cheap enough for me!
Wednesday:
Burger time! Beloporto’s is a hamburger place where you can get a complete meal for only $10.90. Including a burger (can be veal or chicken ) delicious fries, sauce and a drink of your choice! And the burgers are delicious I can assure you.
Thursday:
The Brewery which is right across the parking lot from our hostel! Just a 10 second walk and you will find yourself in one of the most relaxed bars in Byron Bay! Almost every night they have live music and they have a special deal as well. Every night they have a buy one get one for free meal! This is very beneficial when there are two of you. For example have a $20 meal and get one for free, so you both only pay $10. While you are there, try a beer that is brewed on the premises!
Friday:
A nice place to go is the Great Northern Hotel. Not only do they do $5 buffalo wings on a Friday but Monday to Friday they have nightly meal deals and you can sit outside on the terrace in the sun. The Northern is a bar in one so you can have a nice beer with it too.
Saturday:
Cheeky Monkeys! At Cheeky Monkeys bar they serve $5 meals. These meals are very tasty and big portions. They are served from 7.00 till 9.30 pm, if that is not all it is ladies night on Saturday, so the girls get a free cocktail from 9 – 9.30 how awesome is that?! From 8 – 10 there is also a happy hour that means that all the drinks are cheaper! And that is not all – until 11pm they sell frozen cocktails for only 3 dollars, so not only a good dinner but also a good night out.
Sunday:
Sunday is a nice day to go out for dinner! But a traditional roast can be expensive, so why not get yourself something from one of the cafes and enjoy it next to the beach. A good place to go after it is to the Beach Hotel, this is the place to be on a Sunday night, especially since they have free entertainment.
So I say get your butt over here and enjoy all the lovely and especially cheap dinners Byron Bay has to offer! 😉
