The Ivy Sydney

Bored of the usual backpacker bars? Actually the backpacker bars that Sydney has to offer are quite good, however if you do want to try something different why not go and check out one of the most popular bars and nightclubs in Sydney?… The Ivy!

Swap your flip-flops / thongs for high heels, your bungy t-shirt for a collared shirt, slap on the lippy and let down your hair and party with the young and trendy locals at The Ivy.

We all love the backpacker bars with their live bands and cheap drink offers, but it’s also good to treat yourself to a more glamorous night out every now and then – especially for those who are working five days a week. It’s the perfect way to unwind and rid yourself of any stress.

The Ivy can be found on George Street and is frequented by hard-core party goers every night, however as with most bars in Sydney, Friday and Saturday nights are the nights that really rock! With its eight bars and the only rooftop pool bar in Sydney it’s easy to see what all the fuss is about and why it is the most popular venue with the locals.

The Ivy does charge an entry fee of about $20 per person. This can make a price conscious backpacker think twice about making an appearance, however once the decision has been made you will realise it is worth every cent so don’t let it put you off. After all, you are treating yourself.

Every Saturday night Pacha host phenomenal themed nights with dancers, aerobatics and some of the biggest and best DJ’s from around the world! The dance floors are filled with young and beautiful people giving it their all and giving off an immense energy that they burn ’til the early hours of the morning.

With this in mind, make sure you get yourselves down this weekend and have an amazing and crazy time at the legendary Ivy!
