What is Sculpture by the Sea you ask? Imagine taking a walk along the infamous coastal route between Bondi Beach and Coogee Beach, only to come across gigantic, quirky and thought provoking man made sculptures scattered along the beaches – they make for a pretty impressive selfie! Each year locals and visitors make their way to Bondi Beach to view these amazing structures that are on display 24 hours a day.
Sculpture by the Sea is an annual event that has taken place in Bondi Beach for many years now. The concept behind the exhibition is to bring free art to the general public. It is one of the world’s largest free to public events and attracts visitors and tourists year on year.
