The Noosa Everglades are a world famous natural phenomenon of wetlands found in Queensland! Noosa Everglades Day Trip
If you choose the day trip with the Discovery Group, which is either canoeing or a wilderness cruise, you glide along the pristine Noosa River & Lakes and then enjoy your delicious morning tea or coffee on the water. Then you cruise deep into the dark, tranquil mirrored waterways on the Everglades. For lunch a BBQ is provided at the historic loggers camp “Harry’s Hut” where you can choose from fish and steaks served with delicious salads and breads. Beers, wines and cold drinks are of course also included. You can explore the nature, take a swim in the water and take photos of the amazing wildlife around you. As you return to Noosa, you weave your way through ancient landscapes and narrow wetlands.
Noosa Everglades Camping 3 days, 2 nights
If you on the other hand choose for the canoe discovery of 2 nights / 3 days your adventure begins in Noosa with a boat transfer to the Canoe Discovery drop off. From there you paddle upstream through ancient landscapes and arrive at your campsite to set up your camping for the nights.
You can enjoy a swim, relax in the amazing wilderness and then settle in for your first night in the Noosa Everglades! You just have to bring your own food. On the second day you paddle upstream deeper into the Everglades and enjoy a bush-walk to the top of the Cooloola Sand patch. Discover the river of mirrors!
