Ok where do we begin? Wood fired pizzas from $10, Burgers + Chips from $12 (our fav? The All Day Breaky Burger), $10 Steak + Chips + Salad, $10 – $12 salads and too many happy hours and drink specials for us to list. Scary’s, as the locals call it, gets pretty darn busy most nights of the week and is an ideal place if you feel like hitting the Dance Floor! Our tip? Kill two birds with one stone (we love a good pun) and head to Scarys for a cheap hearty dinner before waving your dignity goodbye.
3. Beach Burrito – Bondi
Best place to grab a bite to eat as the sun sets in Bondi. Not only are there ocean views and $35 Beer Buckets (for 5) AND 1 liter Sangria bowls for $20 – but there are loads of cheap Mexican eats. We’re talking 2 Tacos and a Tinnie for $10 (on Thursdays), 4 for $10 Taquitos, $10 or $12 Giant Tacos & $15 Nachos. Also a great place for a few drinks after dinner.
4. North Indian Cuisine – Darlinghurst
Why we love it? You can BYO (Bring your own booze)! The meals here are of an authentic Indian yumminess and you can get loads of mixed matched curries, rices and entrees for little $$$! A great place for a cheap and wholesome ‘pre night out feed’ where you can get a little boozy.
