Located on Lateen Lane (formerly Lawson Lane) behind the iconic Great Northern Hotel just a 2 minute walk from the bus station, Nomads Byron Bay offers a variety of accommodation options to suit all types of backpackers, travellers and budgets.

Directions

From Ballina airport: take a shuttle bus from Ballina Airport approx. 30 min, shuttles meet all flights

From bus stop terminal:

walk north up Jonson Street, then turn right down Lateen Lane. We are located behind the Great Northern Hotel

Terms and conditons

Cancellations

Changes and cancellations: Changes can be made up to 24 hours prior to the confirmed arrival, subject to availability. Bookings

cancelled at any time and up to 24 hours prior to the confirmed arrival will result in the loss of the deposit (10% of booking total). Bookings cancelled within 24 hours of arrival and no-shows will incur a 1-night penalty charged to your credit card.

Refer to your booking confirmation for non-accommodation bookings (tours and packages) cancellation policy. Contact the accommodation provider directly to make changes or to cancel your booking using contact details provided on your booking confirmation.

Nomads Byron Bay Conditions

***Groups of 5 or more people must use the group enquiry form (on the right hand side of the group bookings page) for all bookings***

Cancellations made within 48 hours will incur a full charge of the booking. Guests who no show will incur a full charge of the booking

  • Check In – 2pm – Check Out – 10am
  • Reception is open 24 hours
  • Transfers are not included
  • Children under 18 are allowed with legal guardian in private room using existing bedding. No reduction
  • No meals are included

Security – Lockers Nomads Byron Bay provide lockers in room but you need your own padlock

Please Note: For last minute bookings, in periods of high demand, we cannot guarantee that reservations with more than one person will be allocated to the same room. We will however make every attempt to allocate beds in the same room where possible.

Peak Periods Any bookings made during the below dates, require full payment to be made 1 month prior to check in. We will contact you via email to arrange payment, any bookings not settled 1 month prior will be cancelled. During Peak Periods we have a STRICT No cancellations policy.

Sporting Team & Schoolies

Will only accept full room booking for all schoolies & sporting team. Sharing option will not be accepted. All beds in room will have to be paid for.

A $20.00 non- refundable security fee will be paid by each guest on arrival.

We will hold a security bond of $100 per person for all bookings. Bond will be refunded upon satisfactory room inspection.

When you’ve finished exploring the many beaches Byron Bay has, and you’ve completed the famous walk up to the lighthouse to see if you can spot dolphins from above, have a wander through the town and absorb the bohemian lifestyle and chilled out atmosphere exhibited through unique boutiques, cafes, bars, restaurants and arty shops.
