Queen Victoria Night Market

The Queen Victoria Night market adds a little extra splash of exciting events and live music throughout summer. Here you can browse through the usual array of market stalls that offer everything from souvenirs, clothing, jewellery, accessories and food. However every Wednesday night there is a number of pop international food stalls, flavoured tequila, tea and smoothie trucks and live entertainment on offer. Top Tip: head on over to the Fancy Hanks BBQ Joint and grab a sangria and balcony seat overlooking the market entertainment.

Walking around at the night market you will see and smell so many different things. It’s a true experience to enjoy the atmosphere on a hot Wednesday evening in summer. Enjoy all the different kinds of food from all over the world. Just take a tour of world flavours, including French, Dutch, Vietnamese, German, Indian, Spanish, Indonesian and Middle Eastern.

There is even a huge range of Bars and Wineries, enjoy the best Victoria Wines at the market, or just take a bottle with you to enjoy at home. The fully licensed bars give you the information you want and need about all the delicious wines they have to offer. A big attraction of the Night Market is the Sangria for just a few dollars. The Queen Victoria Market is situated on the corner of Victoria and Elizabeth Street, and is easily accessed by foot from Nomads Melbourne which is right across the road.

  • Seriously not happy with the doughnut van!
    They were always my favourite stop in the market, but no more. I bought 6 doughnuts this morning, & only one had the smallest spot of jam in it... this is the THIRD time!
    I know we all work hard to make our living, but there has to be SOME quality control.
    I overlooked it twice before, but not this time... no more doughnuts from there!
