Nomads and Website Travel Unite to Expand Nomads Affiliate Hostel Chain

Nomads and Website Travel are excited to announce the relaunch of the Nomads Affiliate Hostel Business for Australia, New Zealand and Fiji. This exciting Joint Venture brings together the strong retail travel brands of Peter Pans, Backpackers World Travel, Adventure Travel Bugs and Student Uni Travel, along with the growing Nomads domestic travel brand Mad Travel; two exceptionally strong brands unite to leverage and support the the Nomads Affiliate Member Network.

Nomads has been busily focusing on the roll out of top quality flagship hostels around Australia and New Zealand and are now confident that they have a fantastic footprint of quality cutting edge hostels in each key destination, the envy of all other hostel networks. With a commitment to continually improve & evolve, Website Travel is now the preferred Travel Desk System of more than 150 tour desks and growing strong.

Meg Allen-Armistead has been appointed the General Manager of the new business and stated

"The time is now right to roll out a new business model that will create real value for member hostels and to pull together a real community of hostel owners to work together in these tough economic times. The strength in distribution from our new partners will give the significant edge to our members"

Together this new partnership will be launching a new look “Nomads Affiliate Membership Program” and a host of new procurement deals, the aim is to have 40+ quality hostels within the first year.

Meg Allen-Armistead stated

"We will obviously be giving first preference to those existing hostels that have shown loyalty over the years to Nomads and then approaching hostels all around Australia, New Zealand and Fiji to jump on board with the new membership arrangements"

Members will be offered the benefit of Megan's 15 years in the backpacking industry as the leader of the network:Nomads branding, Nomads Travel, Mad Travel and Mad Card distribution, procurement deals, international marketing, combined local marketing, systems and procedures, and of course the retail distribution of the Website Travel group.

“We are extremely excited with the joint venture and look forward to developing a robust chain of quality properties that can count on the strength of bookings from our extensive agent outlets. In this climate the two keys for backpacker business owners are maximising savings on running costs and getting bums in beds”

With properties like Nomads Airlie Beach, Nomads Noosa, Nomads Cairns, Nomads Melbourne, Nomads Auckland,Nomads Wellington and the award winning Nomads Byron and Nomads Queenstown Nomads are leading the way in high quality experiences for backpackers. Nomads has an existing network of another quality 14 affiliates properties as well as operating as a key inbound international wholesaler for backpacking accommodation and product to Australia, New Zealand and Fiji.
