Surfers Paradise Travel Guide

There is so much to do in Surfers Paradise; from swimming on the famous Surfers paradise beach to shopping (souvenirs, cheap clothes or Prada and Gucci). Attractions include Ripleys Believe it or Not, the Skypoint Observation Deck, Bungy Rocket and Slingshot.

After dark the entertainment focuses on the bright lights of Surfers Paradise. This is definitely a clubbers paradise. You can hop from club to club all night and whether you're after a quiet drink or an outrageous night to remember (or not to remember) you'll find it in Surfers Paradise!

Dreamworld is a family theme park that offers rides and attractions for all ages. Growing up as a child from a small country town in Victoria, Dreamworld was always the holiday away I looked forward to every year. With a wide range of attractions there's never a dull moment.

So my day started bright and early, I was so excited I felt like a little kid in a candy shop. But I'll have to be honest it's been a while since I've been on rides and been blasted into the air at a rapid speed of 161km an hour so I knew it was going to be a long day of constant nausea, but oh well what can you do.

Ever heard of the word ‘Yangawah’? Me neither until the crew from Surfers Paradise Islander Backpackers and I went to see Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary’s new (well 6 months old new) night time dinner and show during the week.

It’s an Aboriginal and Torres Straight Islander experience so if you haven’t had the chance to see their culture or music and dancing live then you must set aside a night to visit when you're next on the Gold Coast.

So this 90 minute adrenaline pumping adventure captures the most AMAZING 360 degree views of the Gold Coast and its beaches, mountains, broadwater and cityside.

Wow what a ride!!! Talk about an action packed afternoon!!

From the super spunky stretch jeep pick up to the fabulously fast jet boat - Paradise Jet Boating sure is a fantastic way to see the Gold Coast. Upon arrival the friendly staff issued us with our life jackets and after a very short briefing we were off and away.
