I recently went on the first Mojo Snow trip of the season. A fun filled, action packed, you can sleep when your dead weekend extravaganza to Perisher ski resort in Jindabyne which is about a 5 to 6 hour drive from Sydney (or 7 hours from Melbourne). I had such an amazing experience I felt the need to share it with all you folks out there looking for something exciting to do in the Aussie winter, cause lets face it if you're going to be cold you may as well be in the snow having heaps of fun.

A few of the staff from Nomads Queenstown were lucky enough recently to be invited to visit The Fear Factory, Queenstown.

I have to say it was a fantasticly freaky time! If you love a good fright like I do then don't miss out on this new must-do activity in Queenstown!

Australia has a lot to offer. Nice beaches, lovely coast lines and beautiful cities. Besides that it has the amazing Red Centre!. Don't miss out on the beautiful nature in the outback and book your trip today. An outback tour is much more than a trip.. it is an experience. I was lucky enough to do the Rock The Centre 3 day tour with Adventure Tours.

It's not every day you get to see massive pools of mud exploding in front of your eyes... but that's exactly what I got to see when I visited Te Puia in Rotorua. "Te Puia is the premier Māori cultural centre in New Zealand - a place of gushing waters, steaming vents, boiling mud pools and spectacular geysers. Our Māori tradition lives on at Te Whakarewarewa, with our guided tours and attractions, our Māori culture, and our National Carving and Weaving Schools of New Zealand." - http://www.tepuia.com/

Thinking of escaping Sydney city for the day to experience what this beautiful place has to offer? Well, I have the perfect place for you! Read on and you will be planning your trip before you reach the end of the article.

When visitors to Sydney plan their day trips, a very large majority will head to the seaside suburbs of Bondi, Coogee or Manly. Quite rightly so, these places are popular with locals and travellers and certainly worth a visit. But it is possible that you may have been to these places before or maybe you're just up for something a little different.

We know that there is nothing worse than arriving in a new place with no money, all the exciting stuff you could do will have to wait until you have saved up money or sweet talked your parents into giving you emergency funds, but Cairns Botanical Gardens is free and is one of many free things to do in Cairns. Cairns Botanical Gardens is located just north of the City Centre, only a 10 minute walk from Nomads Cairns and is definitely worth checking out.

Looking for a trip around the Whitsunday Islands? Then they don't get much more inclusive than Summertime! I was lucky enough to have the opportunity to have a sneak peak of this 3 day / 2 night sailing adventure as a day trip so the crew could show myself and other Airlie Beach travel agents what we'd been missing out on all this time!

Have you ever looked up into the sky at the stunt planes and said 'Hey I wouldn't mind giving that a go!'. Well I have (pretty much everyday since I moved to Airlie Beach 3 years ago!) but unlike some people (like my friends and family) I actually did it! For the last year, my partner and I have been talking about it but now we can put a big fat line through it on our bucket list as we did it and survived to tell the story! My partner, Dan, and Heidi our Mad Travel Shop staff member here in Nomads Airlie Beach organised it all for my birthday as a surprise... and what a surprise!
