Two activities - serious fun in Queenstown!

Serious Fun Queenstown

Just another random Tuesday morning at Nomads Queenstown or so I thought! I was expecting a really normal day and I wasn't sure on what I was going to do yet, so when I walked down to the reception and they told me that I had the opportunity to go river surfing, I was like 'yeah!' this was on the top of my to do list for Queenstown.

I headed round to the River surfing shop, where we got an introduction about the company and the history of River surfing. They offered us two different kinds of surfing, the Frogz white water sledging and the Serious Fun river surfing, I was lucky... I got to do both. :)

My Kiwi Experience trip to the South Island

kiwi experience bus and me

6.30a.m, my alarm clock went off. Well, I hate to get up early but I know I'm joining the Kiwi Experience Bus today so there was not a problem to get up today, I packed my last things and went downstairs to wait for the bus. I got into the first conversations with my new travel mates really easily. Because I am by myself I got to know the people around me quite fast.

Ladies Night at Ubar Melbourne

ladiesnightubarsmall

Once in a while... well every Tuesday... there is girls time at a nice little place in Melbourne: the Ubar. It's Ladies Night! And it's every week the same: fun, fun, fun.

Upstairs here at Nomads All Nations the night usually starts off quite relaxed. In the early evening everyone is in the kitchen/dining room cooking and chatting. If you ask a guy if he is going to dress up like a girl tonight he usually says something like 'Yeah, maybe, if I find a dress. We'll see...'

East Bro - 4 day East Coast Stray trip

East Bro group

Who's excited for the East Bro? Moi! I got to see more than just Auckland and the surroundings and see some of the East Coast of North Island of NZ.

"The East Cape of New Zealand is known as one of the most remote areas of the North Island, a special corner less known to tourists and definitely off the beaten track! This pass takes you from Rotorua, and is great for people who want to chill out on amazing empty beaches and immerse themselves in Maori culture." - East Bro Pass, Stray Travel
