We have a great city centre location ideal for the individual backpacker or student and groups. This area is the city's bohemian, creative centre and is full of the eclectic - record stores, funky clothes bazaars, terrific live music venues with music 7 days a week. The live venue bars are cheap and very lively... The city is blessed with over 50 museums and art galleries all with FREE ADMISSION - and most within walking distance!

You may cancel your booking up to twenty-four hours before arrival. Please do so directly with the relevant hostel.

In the event of a no-show without cancellation, the hostel has the right to charge your credit card for the first night's stay where you have booked accommodation.

Your contract is with the hostel, not nomadsworld.com. It is the hostel's responsibility to provide you with the services.
From Piccadilly station walk towards Piccadilly Gardens until you come to our street called Newton Street on the right. We are located at the second set of traffic lights on the right hand side. When you turn on to Newton Street be aware that the road forks into two so walk on the left hand side of Newton Street looking on your right for the green hat. If you take the wrong turn just ask anyone where we are - they are lovely people the Mancunians, lovely....

In order to check in you need valid photo ID (passport or drivers licence)and a Valid debit/bank card
Please note that 4/6 share rooms, and 8/10 share rooms are of equal value and are interchangable
***GROUPS of 7-14 must pay 1 week before arrival IF HAVEN'T PAID BY THIS TIME WE WILL CHARGE THE CARD ON THE BOOKING .
Cancelations for groups must be 1 weeek before arrival otherwise you will be charged.
We need all names of the group 1 week before arrival.
**You may also be required to put a deposit down on arrival in cash for groups of 7+ at receptions discretion****
You must be 16 years or older to stay at the Hatters
Cancellations must be made by 12 noon the day before arrival otherwise the first night will be charged if you fail to show or cancel.
Though we try to fit groups in one room sometimes this is not possible-call reception to confirm.
