El Misti Hostel Yellow is a newly renovated modern hostel located in the "wonderful city" of Buzios. Surrounded by more than 23 beaches Buzios is located 180km NE of Rio de Janeiro.
The hostel itself has all the charm, personal touches and amenities that one would want in a home away from home. We boast a large comfy common area where people can socialize or watch TV or one of our more than 300 plus movies. We also offer free internet access and wi-fi for those with their own laptops and we have a Nintendo wii for those who really miss home.
El Misti Hostel Yellow Buzios offers a variety of room options to meet your needs and budget. We have everything from air conditioned double rooms to a 7-bed mixed dormitory. In total we have seven rooms to choose from and every room contains an ensuite bathroom. In our dorm rooms each guest will find a large storage locker where they can safely store their belongings.

*Cancellations for the New Year Package Deal can be made before November, 30th with a 100% refund of the total amount. After this date the amount that has already been paid will NOT be refunded. *Cancellations for the Carnival Package Deal can be made before February 1st with a 100% refund of the total amount.

Even if the booking engine allows you to book less nights at the normal rate, for the Christmas, Carnival, Easter and New Year's Packages, your booking will not be valid if you do not book the whole package.
Bookings for Christmas, Easter, New Year, Carnival must be for the whole period of the package, any booking that breaks into Package deal dates will be automatically canceled and the deposit amount not refunded. You will be immediately contacted about the payment from the whole package.Improvements
In our strive to improve and upgrade our facilities to satisfy all our guest, Yellow Stripe Hostel sometimes undergoes refurbishment work in some parts of the hostel. We do our best to ensure guests will not be affected by the renovations but please beware of the latter possibility.Over-bookings
For reservations guaranteed with a 50% deposit or more at time of booking, rooms are held until hostel check-out time the day following arrival.
In the event more guests arrive than can be accommodated due to hostel overbooking or an unforeseen circumstance, and the hostel is unable to hold rooms consistent with booking room hold policy, the hostel will attempt to accommodate guests, at its expense, at a comparable hostel in the area for the oversold night(s), and will pay for transportation to that hostel.
