Don't miss out on a Nomads Fraser Island Tour, an unmissable activity from Rainbow Beach.
The name Rainbow Beach comes from the rainbow coloured cliffs where 74 different shades of coloured sand can be found. In an Aboriginal legend the cliffs were coloured when Yinigie the spirit of the Gods representing Rainbows was killed in a fight, spreading his colourful spirit across the cliffs.
